City of Centerville COlmcil Meeting Minutes April 27, 2005 City Attorney Hoeft indicated that he would review the contract but noted that the City has some leeway with how to control this and that would be that the addition of the cables impedes the use by the City. City Administrator Larson handed out information on the Minnesota Community Capital a source of economic development loans. He then explained that the City would make a loan to the program and then businesses within the City can apply for a loan of up to 10 times the amount. 2. 1601 LaMotte Drive Staff continues to work on this and will bring a recommendation for consideration. 3. Downtown Redevelopment Planning Update City Administrator Larson indicated that the City would need to decide within a couple of weeks as to which consultants to use. Council recessed to executive session at 8: 15 p.m. to discuss Royal Oaks litigation. X. CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION (PENDING LmGATION) Royal Oaks Realty - Lakeland Hills & Royal Industrial Park City Attorney Hoeft reported that the settlement conditions that were set by the Council at its Meeting of April 25, 2005 have not yet been agreed to by the opposing parties. The Council agreed that no further concessions would be made and that if the agreement for settlement is not signed by the other party by the first regular meeting in Mayor the City's offer is withdrawn and the Council will pursue the court action for the entire amount due. Council reconvened from executive session at 8:23 p.m. XL ADJOURNMENT Motion by Council Member L~ seconded bv Council Member Lakso to adiourn the April 27. 2005 Citv Council Meetine at 8:25 p.m. All in favor.
