At Council's April 27, 2005 meeting, Council appointed you to fill the vacated council seat (4-year term) until the 2006 General Election when the City will be holding a Special Election to fill the remaining 2-years of the term. As you are aware, Council meets on the. 2nd and 4111 Wednesday of the month in Council, Chambers at City Hall commencing at 6:30 p.m. . Occasionally, COUD.cil schedules work sessions that may require additional scheduling ofiyour part Council'requests that Staff take a moment to forward their desires to yo.w r~garding the use of your affiliation/representation of' your appointed position when participatiitg iil issues that cOllcem you as a resident/member of the community. In this capacity, you will exclude any affiliation with the City unless directed by motion of the Council to do so. Staff has been directed to include your name, address, email address and home telephone number in our Business Directory and on our web site. Staff makes available the Council packets Friday prior to the meeting after 4:00 p.m. ' Staff 'Will not make available and confidential information this way and will deliver same to your residence. Staff quite frequently utilizes email so please check same often to keep yourself abreast of issues of priority that you may receive calls on. Staff has included with this letter an Ethics Policy, W-4 and 1-9 documentation that you need to complete and return to City Hall. Council pay is $275.00 per month plus an additional $25 for any additional Council meeting( s) and workshop( s) attended.
