Box 441 Hugo, MN 55038 ��8. _ �es" Dear Mr. Larson: On behalf of the City of Centerville and the Parks & Recreation Committee we would like to thank you for the Dead Broke Saddle Club's recent donation of $2,540 for the purpose of installing a volley bail court(sj at Laurie LaMotte Memoria� Park. While this project is expected to cost approximateIy $10,000 your donation is the beginning of the committee's fund tawards this goal. Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park is the community's sport pazk, with ba11 fields (softball, football, soccer) ice skating and hockey, and Wheels Skate Board Park. A regional trai2 also runs through the park and fhere is a pavilion used for picnics and other faznily events. The Parks & Recreafion Committee feels a family activity such as sand volley ball wi�ll bc a great addition. In 20I 1 the committee will be sponsoring the 3'� Annual8K Run/Walk with the addition this year of a Kid's Fun Run and an In-Line Skating event. This event is a committee fund raiser for the betterment of the parks and community events. We would also like to thank Dead Broke Saddle Club for the donation of $350 towards this project to help the committee organize a health related event which benefits the entire community.
