City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 23, 2011 <br /> <br />6.Forest Lake Contracting Final Pay Request (2009 Street Improvement Project) ~ Tabled. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser updated Council on the status of these two items stating that additional time was <br />needed to consider negotiation/settlement options. <br /> <br />X. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator, Mr. Dallas Larson <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported that the City had received $12,156.91 from the North Metro <br />Television Commission from Comcast for Centerville’s portion of the 2010 Franchise Fees dollars <br />utilized for cablecasting equipment in Council Chambers and the closet off of Chambers. City <br />Administrator Larson stated that a Council Member had suggested that Council’s pictures be placed on <br />the City web site and questioned how members felt about this idea stated that all needed to agree or this <br />suggestion would not happen. Consensus was to have their pictures taken at the next meeting and to <br />place them on the City’s web site. City Administrator Larson stated that two Council members had <br />completed the Land Use on-line seminar and if any others needed assistance to let him know. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Mayor Wilharber <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that area Mayors were invited to Living Waters Church recently to discuss <br />avenues to provide social services to the communities. Also, Mayor Wilharber stated that area Mayors <br />met with Centennial School District Superintendant Dr. Paul Stremick regarding attendance and funding <br />of the school district. <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher to adjourn the <br />February 23, 2011, City Council Meeting at 8:20 p.m. All in favor.
