CALL TO ORDER. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Mosher. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Roll Call <br /> <br /> <br />II.PUBLIC INPUT/HEARING <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />III.OLD BUSINESS <br />. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Updating zoning to correspond with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Dallas Larson reported that he had sent letters to all of the property owners in the area <br />thst <br />south of Main Street between 20 and 21 Avenues advising them of the proposed change <br />from industrial to commercial business zoning. They have been asked to respond with <br />comments by January 15. <br /> <br />Larson will also send letters to other property owners impacted by zoning changes <br />proposed in the new comprehensive plan. <br /> <br /> <br />IV.NEW BUSINESS. <br /> <br />1. Request of Ms. Terry Johnson for a change in the City Code, Chapter 90, to <br /> allow beekeeping. <br /> <br />Ms. Johnson was present to advocate for a change in the city code to permit the keeping of <br />bees in the city. She shared ordinance requirements from the City of Minneapolis where <br />beekeeping is permitted subject to certain restrictions, which include lot size, setbacks for <br />locations of hives, restrictions on number of hives permitted, and requiring approval by <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />
