This process removes any sediment
that may have settled in the water mains over the course of the year, as well as
presenting an opportunity to ensure hydrants are in proper working order.
Hydrant flushing will create periods of low water pressure, with the disturbance in the water
mains potentially causing dark water. Although safe for human consumption, the discolored
water may stain clothes.
Page 3 - SPRING, 2011
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES THIS SPRING
Visit Anoka County's new Ready, Set, Go web site for local park informs
1,
tion: http://www.goanokacounty.org/
PARK PASS
The Anoka County Parks & Recreation Park pass allows you to entry into all county and re-
gional parks in Anoka County, as well as Caver & Washington County.
