City of Ccnterville <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> March l, 2011 Meeting Minutes <br /> Motion bv Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Wekseth to approve the <br /> prepar findin�s and recommendation for Council adoption of proAosed chan�es to <br /> Chapter 156, Sections 156.025. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> b. Amend Chapter 156, Section 156.030 (Interim Uses in B-1 Zone) <br /> Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded bv Commissioner Wood to approve the <br /> prepared findin�s and recommendation for Council adoption of proposed chan�es to <br /> Chapter 156, Sections 156.030. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 2. Update zoning to correspond with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> a. Rl Changeto R-2 <br /> b. R-2 Change to R-3 <br /> c. R-2A Change to R-3 <br /> d. R-2 Change to M-2 <br /> e. I-1 Change to B-1 <br /> The Commission reviewed the list of properties that wi11 need to be rezoned to conform to <br /> the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. It was pointed out that the multi-family area known as <br /> Willow G1enn should be included in the areas that are rezoned to R-3. <br /> Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Mosher to approve to � <br /> call for public hearin� to be held on May 3, 20ll on the rezonings required to make � <br /> the properties in the areas identified comply with the 2030 Comprehensive Plan. All I <br /> in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> IV. NEW BUSINESS. <br /> 1. Metropolitan Transit Parking Facility proposed far Lino Lakes. <br /> City Administrator Larson reviewed preliminary plans of Metropolitan Transit for a 300 <br /> car park and ride facility in Lino Lakes immediately east of 21 Avenue and north of Main <br /> Street. The Commission discussed traffic and access issues that will need to be addressed. <br /> V. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> Dallas Larson reminded Plannin & Zonin Commission to take on-line land use basics <br /> g g <br /> training offered by the League of Minnesota Cities. All present agreed to take the training. <br /> VI. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> Motion by Commissioner Larson, seconded bv Commissioner Wekseth to approve <br /> minutes from the February 1, 2011, meeting. All in favor.
