City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 23, 2011 <br /> <br />Previously discussed and adopted. <br /> <br />3. Bonestroo 2010 Performance Review <br /> <br />Previously discussed. <br /> <br />4. Approval of Local #49 Union Contract adding 16 hours of carry over to PTO at end of year <br />for what is currently allowed. Dallas Recommends sign contract with them. <br /> <br />Administrator Larson reported that Union discussions occurred and an acceptable agreement was <br />negotiated for a one year contact that would include additions of an additional 16 hours of carryover <br />PTO hours allowable annually for a total of 208 hours and a Memorandum of Understanding pertaining <br />to Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDLs) as outlined in the presented information. Larson recommended <br />that the Council approve the contract proposal. <br /> <br />Motion by Acting Mayor Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to Approve the Local #49 <br />Union Contract with the Modifications as follows: Extend the Current Contract for One Year, <br />Employees are Allowed to Carry Over a Total of 208 Hours of PTO Time, (Increase of 16 Hours), <br />and Renew the CDL MOU for 2011 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br />1. City Administrator Larson <br /> <br />Larson-None; Council Members Love – None; Fehrenbacher – New Police Chief is due to be sworn in <br />tomorrow; King – A proposed County agreement for broadband services has been forwarded to all <br />municipalities’ City Attorneys for their review and input and Acting Mayor Paar reported that Fete des <br />Lacs is July 29-31, 2011 with the parade theme being Solid Gold 60’, 70’s & 80’s. The Centerville <br />Lions, Parks & Recreation and the Parade Committee are all looking for volunteers. The Parade <br />Committee is currently accepting registrations and completed forms may be turned into City Hall. The <br />thth <br />fireworks will be on the 29 with a rain delay date of 30. <br /> <br /> <br />X.ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Acting Mayor Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to Adjourn the meeting of <br />March 23, 2011 at 8:40 p.m.. All in favor.
