STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />RES. #1i -0 <br />A RESOLUTION ENDORSING AND SUPPORTING THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE'S <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMITTEE'S NOMINATION FOR THE 2011 C.C. <br />LUDWIG AWARD SUBMISSION <br />WHEREAS, on an annual basis the League of Minnesota Cities Honors City Officials by <br />bestowing this award on nominees that have been judged on their service in local government <br />with the following criteria: <br />That have served their community above and beyond the nominee's position, improved <br />municipal government through involvement in national, state, county, municipal, professional or <br />other public organizations or agencies; made significant improvements in the City attributable to <br />the nominee's service; secured admiration and respect of the general public and raised prestige of <br />City government service; and has conducted themselves in a selfless fashion for the betterment <br />of their community; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Committee would like to nominate an individual from the <br />community who meets the eligibility requirements for this award; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Centerville concurs with the nomination made by <br />the Committee and endorses the candidates nomination; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA. <br />Supports the Parks & Recreation Committee's nomination for the 2011 C.C. Ludwig Award <br />submission and requests that the submission be forwarded to the League of Minnesota Cities <br />for consideration. <br />Adopted by the Council this 1 V h day of May, 2011. <br />Tom Wilharber, Mayor <br />Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br />
