City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting <br />May 11, 2011 <br />Council Member King stated that he previously reported on the FCC request. Council <br />Member King also reported that he requested additional information from the Finance <br />Director regarding the Parks & Recreation Committee budget. Council Member King <br />also stated that the flag pole Eagle Scout Project would be needing footings and the Scout <br />would be working with the contractor. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that street vacuuming is completed, hydrant flushing is <br />commencing this week and if any individuals are interested in becoming firefighters, <br />apply at Station 2, 7741 Lake Drive or speak with a current firefighter regarding the <br /> <br />application process. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that the new Police Chief is impressed with the current <br />department, has suggested several new ideas, feels that he has been welcomed to the <br />department and is becoming more familiar with his position. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber stated that there were several high school students in the audience and <br />questioned whether they had any questions. No questions were asked. <br /> <br /> <br />X.CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION (Pending Litigation – Sheehy <br />Construction) <br /> <br />It was determine that it was not needed at this time. <br /> <br /> <br />XI.ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to adjourn <br />the Council Meeting of May 11, 2011 at 7:22 p.m. All in favor.
