Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes 05-04-11 PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, May 4, 2011 - 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville held the regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Centerville City Hall, 1880 Main Street. Present: Chairperson Patrick Branch Vice-Chairperson Jon Grahek Committee Member Suzanne Seeley Committee Member Mark Haiden Committee Member Kevin Amundsen Committee Member Brian Peterson (7:30) Absent: Committee Member Kevin Selander Council: Council Liaison Steven King Staff: Staff Liaison Kim Stephan Also present were Mary Capra, Phillip Capra, Carla Faust and Rob Faust. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I. CALL TO ORDER Roll Call Chairperson Branch called the May 4, 2011 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. II. SET AGENDA Chairperson Branch requested adding Mr. Phillip Capra, Eagle Scout Tree Diversification Project, to the agenda for an update under Appearance as #3. Chairperson Branch requested adding a discussion on a change in budget line expense reporting under Committee Business #2. Chairperson Branch requested adding a discussion of the Special Use Permit for the Boy Scout Rocket Launch under Committee Business #3. Committee Member Seeley requested adding a discussion of Burial Mounds under Updates #8. Motion was made by Committee Member Haiden, seconded by Committee Member Amundsen, to set the May 4, 2011 Parks & Recreation Committee Agenda with the above additions. All in favor.
