CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION <br /> FINDINGS & CONCLUSIONS <br /> Whereas, the Planning and Zoning Commission is tasked to fulfill the goals of the <br /> Centerville 2030 Comprehensive Plan. <br /> Whereas, that Comprehensive Plan guided certain areas to be removed from the <br /> R -2 district and added to the M -2 zoning district. <br /> Whereas, on March 1, 2011, the Commission held a public hearing to consider <br /> proposed changes to City Code, Chapter 156, removing certain parcels from the R -2 <br /> zoning district and adding them to the M -2 zoning district. As a result of that hearing the <br /> Commission makes the following findings of fact. <br /> The Commission held a public hearing and considered comments and objections <br /> to the proposed changes in zoning <br /> Implementation of the 2030 Comprehensive Plan of the city can best be <br /> accomplished by removing certain property from the R -2 zoning district and adding it to <br /> the M -2 zoning district. <br /> Based on these findings, the Commission proposes the attached amendments to <br /> Chapter 156 of the Centerville Code. The Commission recommends that the City Council <br /> adopt these findings and adoption of an ordinance amending Chapter 156. <br /> Adopted by the Planning and Zoning Commission this 9 day of August, 2011. <br /> s <br /> 14 <br />
