WEEK Y N REV S EW <br /> Edition # 56 4 -13 -98 through 4 -17 -98 <br /> Building permits issued this period = 2 <br /> Building permits issued YTD 45 <br /> * I have had discussions and meetings with the representatives <br /> from Terminal Transport since January of this year. On <br /> Wednesday, I received a call from John Snyder from the RJ Ryan <br /> Company. They have plans to construct an office /shop building <br /> for Terminal Transport in the Centerville Industrial Park. <br /> This company has a signed purchase agreement on 6.75 acres. <br /> They propose to construct a 10,500 square foot building. The <br /> building will be constructed with pre- stressed concrete <br /> panels. The building will serve as the office headquarters <br /> for Terminal Transport. This company is located out of Saint <br /> Paul. They currently lease 1,000,000 square feet of warehouse <br /> space in Saint Paul. The office /shop building in Centerville <br /> will serve approximately 15 current employees. The company <br /> also employs an additional 35 drivers themselves and employs <br /> an additional 40 -45 independent contractors. The contractor <br /> plans to be present at the next Planning Commission meeting. <br /> * I received a phone call from John Vondelinde (Anoka County <br /> Parks Director). Mr. Vondelinde indicated that $1.64 million <br /> dollars was approved for the development of the Rice Creek <br /> Regional Park Reserve. I will be scheduling a meeting with <br /> Mr. Vondelinde to discuss the timing of their improvements as <br /> well as the coordination of a trail extension that could <br /> access LaMotte Park. <br /> * A committee has been established for the MN Design Team visit. <br /> Th_ screening visit agenda has been set for Friday. <br /> * A meeting was held with Joyce Stevens to inform her of the <br /> potential water /sewer project down 20th Avenue. The need for <br /> an easement for the forcemain was discussed. She expressed <br /> concerns in regards to her lilacs and garden along the <br /> property line. It was mentioned that the City is looking at <br /> an alternate of directional boring along the forcemain <br /> corridor. <br /> * The entire site at Lakeland Hills was seeded and mulched this <br /> week. There were some erosion and run -off concerns from this <br /> development. They responded to the issue in a timely fashion. <br />
