DRAFT MARCH 6, 1998 <br /> CEDAR STREET AGREEMENT <br /> JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES AND <br /> THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> REGARDING CEDAR STREET ROADWAY <br /> IMPROVEMENTS AND MAINTENANCE <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this _ day of 1998, by <br /> and between the City of Lino Lakes, a municipal corporation, situated in Anoka County, <br /> Minnesota, hereinafter called "Lino Lakes ", and the City of Centerville, a municipal <br /> corporation, situated in Anoka County, Minnesota, hereinafter called "Centerville ". Both <br /> Lino Lakes and Centerville have the authority to enter into this agreement pursuant to <br /> Minnesota Statute 471.59. <br /> RECITALS <br /> a. Lino Lakes and Centerville desire to improve Cedar Street by constructing <br /> street curb and gutter and storm sewer between 20th Avenue North and the Lino Lakes <br /> corporate boundary. <br /> b. The street shall be constructed to a mutually agreeable street section that will be <br /> approved with the initiation of a feasibility study by the City. <br /> C. A portion of the Project is to be constructed within the corporate limits of Lino <br /> Lakes and a portion is to be constructed within the corporate limits of Centerville. <br /> d. Subject to the terms hereof, Centerville is assuming full responsibility for the <br /> design and construction of the Project to be built both within the corporate limits of Lino <br /> Lakes and Centerville. <br /> e.
