We estimate that we could
have the project completed and ready for bidding in approximately two weeks.
Our proposed schedule for the project Is as follows:
January 28, 1998 Council review and update
February 11, 1998 Council approve plans and authorize for bidding
February 19, 1998 First publication, Forest Lake Times
February 20, 1998 First publication, Construction Bulletin
March 12, 1998 Bid Opening
With the above schedule, we could report to the Council on March 25th with results of the
bidding, We will provide an immediate update on the results through the "Week in Review". At
the March 25 meeting, we could then review assessment options, given the bidding results, and
set a schedule for an assessment hearing. Construction would begin as soon as the weather
and posting of toed limits allows.
We will be in attendance at the January 28th Council meeting to answer any questions about
the above schedule and to discuss the project.
Sincerely,
HjZward R.
