MEMO <br /> DATE July 2, 1998 <br /> TO Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM Jim March <br /> RE Eagle Pass Trail Issue <br /> Trail Issue <br /> The Park and Recreation Committee passed a motion to request that <br /> the City of Centerville omit the trail segment that loops around <br /> the nine townhomes in Eagle Pass. The Committee suggested <br /> deleting the trail in lieu of receiving as much cash dedication <br /> as possible in consideration for removing the trail segment. <br /> The Committee felt that the trail should have originally extended <br /> all the way to the east to connect to the trail segment that <br /> links to Clearwater Meadows. The consensus was the segment of <br /> trail in question had little value and the dollars could better <br /> be used to develop the LaMotte and Acorn Creek parks. <br />
