We received the plan set on July 1, 1998. We would like to take <br /> this opportunity to offer the following preliminary comments on the plan and plat. We will <br /> have additionaf comments at the July 6, 1998 planning and zoning meeting. <br /> At the June planning and zoning meeting, the Travis' were present to request a building <br /> permi for one single family home on the proposed development. They are requesting a <br /> building permit to construct a new home on lot 8, block 1. <br /> BRIAN DRIVE CUL -DE -SAC EXTENSION <br /> The street serving the development will be an extension of Brian Drive. Brian Drive <br /> would be extended approximately 600 feet to a temporary cul -de -sac. City Ordinance <br /> #8, paragraph 28.03 limits cut-de -sacs to a length of 800 feet. However, the 600 feet <br /> proposed for construction wilt be added on to what is currently a dead and street. The <br /> total ength of the cul- de-sac from 73" Street to the temporary cul- de•sac will be <br /> approximately 800 Feet. <br /> While the cuf -ce -sac is proposed to be temporary, some discussion should occur at the <br /> July 6`' meeting regarding future road connection points north of Revoir Street and this <br /> proposed plat, Revoir Street is another long temporary cul-de -sac.
