RESOLUTION #98 -78 <br /> Page 4 <br /> EXHIBIT B <br /> 1997 RICE CREEK CHAIN OF LAKES REGIONAL PARK RESERVE DEER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM RULES <br /> 1. A shooting proficiency lest (every year) and a bow -hunt education course (one time only) are required. <br /> 2. Hunting is allowed in designated areas only from dawn until dusk, from October 17, 1998 through December 13, 1998. <br /> 3. All hunters must sign the Anoka County liability release statement. <br /> 4. All hunters must attend the pre -hunt orientation session to receive hunting instructions, and other information. The orientations are scheduled for October 3 and <br /> October 8, 1998. <br /> 5, All hunters must obtain necessary DNR bow . hurki — licenser, and abide by all applicable DNR hunting regulatinns. <br /> 6. Participants are authorized to purchase additional antlerless permits in addition to the regular archery hunting license from the DNR. <br /> 7. The first deer tagged may be either antlered or antlerless, but each hunt participant may tag only one antlered deer. <br /> 8. All hunters must wear their identification back tags at all times during the hunt, and must return back tags when finished hunting for the season. Unreturned <br /> identification tags may void your 1 tinting privileges in future years. <br /> 9. All hunters must enter and exit the park only at the two designated access points (north and south), park motorized vehicles in designated parking areas, display <br /> windshield 10 cards, and drive only on designated roadways. <br /> 10. Hunting shall be from portable tree stands only. <br /> 11. No spike or screw -in tree steps are allowed and no permanent tree stands may by constructed. <br /> 12. All hunters must remove all equipment and materials that they bring into the Park on a daily basis. <br /> 13. No live trees or vegetation shall be cut or otherwise damaged in the Park. <br /> 14. No open fires or alcoholic beverages are allowed within the Park boundaries during the hunt hours. <br /> 15. No animals other than deer shall be shot. <br /> 16. No hunting within 500 feel of golf course bounceries or 500 feet of any private property adjacent to the park. <br /> 17. No hunting within 300 feet of any improved trail or roadway within the park. <br /> 18. No motorized vehicles shall be used to transport tagged deer from hunt sites to parking areas. <br /> 19. You must contact the Natural Resource Specialist Immediately after taking a deer in the park to assist in compiling hunt results. Please identify sex of deer and <br /> if they are fawns or adults. Attempt to age the deer. Leave a voice mail message at phone 4767 -2896. <br /> 20. Deer transported in motor vehicles must be covered or out of plain site. <br /> 21. If confronted or harassed by protesters, all hunt participants are under orders to say nothing, or do anything, but to notify the Park Ranger or other law enforcement <br /> officers, who will take appropriate action. <br /> 22. All hunters must follow any additional directions by tie Natural Resource Specialist or Park Ranger Officers found to be necessary for a safe and effective hunt, <br /> The two access points into the designated hunting areas will be randomly .monitored to regulate the program. <br /> LIABIUTY RELEASE <br /> By my signature, I hereby release Anoka County from all liability for any injury or claim that may occur cluing my participation in this special hunt, and related activities <br /> taking place during the designated time frame.
