project on April 29 at &00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Nyberg noted he will submit a revised estimate of assessments for the Council. <br /> SWMP Update <br /> Mr. Nyberg gave an update of a memo dated March 18, 1998. Mr. Nyberg added, the shoreland <br /> ordinance is a critical document to have completed. Mr. March noted RCWD (Rice Creek <br /> Watershed District) would like to see the City adopt a surface water management plan. Mr. <br /> Nyberg commented he will make adjustments to the DNR draft ordinance and then present it to <br /> the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> LaMotte Park <br /> Mr. Phil Bergem gave a brief presentation on the crossing request from Anoka County for the <br /> LaMotte Park Development. <br /> ADMINISTRATORS REPORT <br /> The Police Department's Joint Powers (JP) Task Force Update <br /> A discussion occurred on how the JP task force would be set up. It was mentioned that <br /> Centerville would like to have equal representation. In addition, the administrators are looking at <br /> several different funding formula options. Mayor Wilharber voiced interest to sit on the task <br /> force. Also, Mr. March will represent the City as the administrator. However, the city will need <br /> to interview for two citizen vacancies for the task force. The Council will attempt to set up a <br /> workshop meeting in mid -April for the Centerville 7P task force members' interviews. Then the <br /> Council will make a decision on April 22, 1998. <br /> 21st Avenue Road Conditions <br /> Mr. March expressed the concerns business owners located on 21st Avenue voiced about the road <br /> conditions. <br /> Mayor Wilharber discussed his Police department ride along. <br /> Council Table Options <br /> The Council discussed a color scheme for the new council table. The Council chose contract gray <br /> as the main color and colonial blue as the accent strip. Mr. March added, the table configuration <br /> can be straight with additional support panels. The additional expense for two panels and <br /> grommets is $130. <br /> Councilmember Buckbee moved and it was seconded to direct city Staff to order the council <br /> table with the grommets accent trim, nd the additional support panel to straighten the table <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. March reported Goetz Landscaping recently purchased a home in the downtown area.
