The dates for <br /> this hearing cannot conflict with the initial hearing set by the county, <br /> metropolitan agencies or the school districts located in your city. However, <br /> your continuation hearing may conflict with the continuation hearing of <br /> another taxing district. These hearings must be held between November 29 and <br /> December 20. The continuation hearing must be at least 5 but no more than 14 <br /> business days after your initial hearing. Additionally, Chapter 389, Laws of <br /> 1998, require that the first and second Mondays of December are reserved for <br /> use by the cities until September 15. The following taxing districts within <br /> your city have set the following hearing dates: <br /> TAXING HEARING RECONVENING <br /> DISTRICT DATE DATE <br /> Anoka Count December 3 ........ December 15 <br /> Metropolitan Agencies ....... December 2 ........ December 9 <br /> SD #12 ......................December 8 ........ December 17 <br /> With this information you can now set the initial date for your public <br /> hearing and a date for reconvening the meeting, if necessary.
