City Council Meeting January 8, 1997 <br /> Nyberg thanked the council for re- electing MSA Engineering Consultants as the City <br /> Engineer. As it has been a pleasure working with Jim, Ry -Chel and Paul, council has a <br /> good team and he looks forward to working with them and the city. <br /> City Goals and Objectives - <br /> MOTION by Brenner, seconded by Powers- Rasmussen to direct staff to research <br /> advisors for the City's goals and objectives. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mound Trail Park Property - <br /> MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Helmbrecht to direct City staff to contact Anoka <br /> County and coordinate trailway dedication. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Flashers at school crossing - Buckbee asked who would be responsible to pay for the <br /> engineering study, City or the County? March mentioned he would check on it. Buckbee <br /> suggested waiting until the council knew who would pay for the traffic study. <br /> Clerk/Administrator Authorized to Sign City Checks - <br /> MOTION by Wilharber, seconded by Buckbee to authorize Jim March to sign city <br /> checks. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Clerk/Administrator Pay Increase - <br /> MOTION by Helmbrecht, seconded by Buckbee to approve a pay increase of $5,000+er- <br /> year retroactive to November 20, 1996. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Use of Laurie LaMotte Park - <br /> Wilharber volunteered to check on farm land rental prices. <br /> Resolution 97-02- <br /> MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Helmbrecht to set the fee structure identified in <br /> resolution 97 -02, for City of Centerville. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Resolution 97 -03 - <br /> MOTION by Buckbee, seconded by Helmbrecht to approve Jim March as Responsible <br /> Authority.
