WEE K S N R E V I E W Edition #7 3 -3 thru 3 -7 * I attended the Administrator's meeting in Blaine on Tuesday morning where we discussed the by -law revision recommendations that will be presented to the Cable Commission. We have scheduled a meeting of the eight City Administrators for March 25, where we will discuss the results of a survey that will reveal the community programming needs. Each City is interested in training and better utilization of the local cable access channels. We would also like to look at community web pages and cable programming that can be utilized by all member communities. * I attended the Park and Recreation meeting on Wednesday evening. The group discussed the development of LaMotte Park. The Chain of Lakes Little League and the Centennial Soccer Association have indicated that they have money and labor to contribute to the park's development. The group would like to proceed with the topographical survey in the spring by MSA who quoted a price not to exceed $2,280. I have a colored exhibit of the first draft of the proposed park extension that was provided by MSA to the City at no charge. * Gordy Beulke of the Beulke Agency met with Danell and I on Thursday afternoon. We went through the review and update of the City insurance package. The only changes from last year's package was in different vehicle and office equipment coverages. * Our new computer is up and running as of Thursday afternoon. The new accounting software is to be installed on March 13 with two days of training scheduled for the last week in March. We should be switched to the new system by the beginning of the second quarter.
