EXAMPLE <br /> 1ST WARNING <br /> The City of Centerville has a sprinkling ban in effect every year beginning May 1 through <br /> September 1 as follows: <br /> 1. There will be no watering in the City (on the Centerville Water System), odd or even, <br /> between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. <br /> 1 The odd /even rule applies to all other hours. All property with an address that ends with <br /> an odd number may be sprinkled on odd numbered days (i.e. 1st, 3rd, etc.). Property <br /> with an address that ends with an even number may be sprinkled on even number days <br /> (i.e. 2nd, 4th, etc.). <br /> 3. New sod and /or seed is exempt for two weeks after installation; you can water both odd <br /> and even with NO WATERING FROM 10:00 AM TO 6:00 PM. <br /> 4. There will be only one written warning for violators of the sprinkling restrictions. The <br /> second violation carries a penalty of $50.00 the first day and $50.00 each following day <br /> thereafter. <br /> 5. The Centerville Water Department is to shut off water at the street following the third <br /> violation until such time as the property owner complies with the restrictions. A $25.00 <br /> shut off and $25.00 turn on fee will be added to the penalties. <br /> THIS IS A WARNING! <br /> Please follow this water restriction carefully. Water your lawn wisely. We want to be able to <br /> serve everyone equally.
