This sign was located <br /> approximately 1800 feet east of Progress Road on CSAH 14 (Main St.) in the City of <br /> Centerville. It is our understanding that this sign was installed by city forces as directed by <br /> the City of Centerville City Council, <br /> Since CSAH 14 (Main St.) is under the jurisdiction of Anoka County the City of <br /> Centerville has no authority to install traffic control devices upon it (Minnesota State <br /> Statute 169.06), <br /> Speed zones have been esmblished on CSAH 14 in accordance with Minnesota State <br /> Statute 169.14 and cannot be altered without authority from the Commissioner of <br /> Highways, Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br /> If the City of Centerville wishes to recover the sign and sign posts for use at another <br /> location they may pick them up at the Anoka County Highway Department, 1440 Bunker <br /> Lake Blvd., Andover, 1W This sign, or aey others, may not be reinstalled within Anoka <br /> County Rights of Way. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Post-it' Fax Note 7671 Dale pages P 1 <br /> T° fly -chel Gaustad From RO er Butler <br /> Roger Butler co.,oaPi.
