My attention was then drawn to two wlvte male adults leaving the <br /> Trio Inn located at ?O82 Center✓ fl_ Road. One of these persons was carrying a case of <br /> beer. The males then got into a red pickup truck and left traveling UB on Main Street. <br /> I then requested 'shat C'Ticer ^ efson contirtn Minnesota State Statute 340A.503 <br /> Subd. 4 clause (5) with regard to the sale Of off sake liquor on Thanks Givin Day, After <br /> cr u`u [[irg t ds law, 1 rerlue. that Officer Nelson and respond <br /> to the City of' Centel'u e to assist me in a uc cove; liquor <br /> our rase at the Trio Inn. I <br /> did tu[ her request that be in civilian clothing. I also requested <br /> that he have in his possession only fifteen (15) dollars in cash, and that these bills be <br /> copied for serial numbers, Officer Nelson was tO search ��Wl to insure <br /> he had no oth e[• cash on his person,. <br /> 1210 hours <br /> I met with Officer Nelson and at Centerville City Hall. I then searched <br /> and confirmed he had o y fifteen (15) dollars in possession and I <br /> ce rd [he serval numbers on each bill against the copies [Wade by Officer Nelson. I <br /> instructed to attettipt to purchase a six pack of beer using the ten <br /> dollar bill if possible. Officer Nelson then drove o the : omer of <br /> Centerville Road and Maim Street where he was dropped off. <br /> 1215 hours <br /> INNUUM returned on foot to Officer Nelson and myself parked at <br /> Centerville School at Progress and main Street. was in possession <br /> of a brown paver shoppi ng bag - narkad R_auibow loo( s. In the bag was six (6) bottles of <br /> Miller Light beer each oi' which %• er 11 oz, A betties were still cold to the touch.1M <br /> stated that he purchased the bCer with the ten dollar bill given to him. All money <br /> was collected irorn i :hiding a five dollar bill given to him as change from <br /> the ten dollar bill he used to buy the beer.
