MEMO <br /> DATE : 12/5/97 <br /> TO Honorable Mayor and Council <br /> FROM : Jim March <br /> RE Score Funding <br /> Randy Hagerty will be present to discuss Score funding <br /> reimbursements to United Waste. I have attached a copy of a memo <br /> that Randy forwarded to me in regards to this matter. I <br /> suggested that the issue be addressed at the Council meeting when <br /> we have a representative from United Waste present. The past <br /> practice has been to issue a check to United waste as a subsidy <br /> for their recycling efforts. This is recommended by the County, <br /> but not mandated. The agreement that has been in place on this <br /> topic has been written as non - binding by either party. The main <br /> issue will be whether or not it is necessary to continue or <br /> modify this process. <br />
