CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING <br /> Thursday, October 23, 1997 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Centerville held a special <br /> meeting on October 23, 1997 at City Hall. Acting Mayor Mary Jo Helmbreht called the meeting <br /> to order at 6:10 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: Acting Mayor Mary Jo Helmbrecht <br /> Council Members: Sanna Buckbee <br /> Laura Powers <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br /> Councilmember Theresa Brenner <br /> STAFF /CONSULTANTS: Administrator Jim March <br /> Clerk Ry -Chel Gaustad <br /> Engineer David Nyberg <br /> The special meeting is designed to award the senior housing sanitary sewer and watermain <br /> extension project. The seven bidders and their corresponding bids for the project are as follows: <br /> Kober Excavating, Inc. $36,288.00 <br /> Penn Contracting, Inc. $36,695.50 <br /> Hydrocon, Inc. $40,655.00 <br /> CCS Contracting $41,050.00 <br /> Ro -So Contracting, Inc. $43,400.35 <br /> Kuechle Underground, Inc. $44,361.75 <br /> Northdale Construction Company, Inc. $68,861.46 <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Powers to award the senior housing sanitary sewer and watermain <br /> contract to Kober Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $36,288.00. Motion seconded by <br /> Councilmember Buckbee. Motion carried Unanimously. <br /> MOTION by Councilmember Powers to adjourn the October 23, 1997 special meeting. Motion <br /> seconded by Councilmember Buckbee.
