2. The second paragraph suggests that I should pay my
bill by the due date which is the 15th of the month it was issued
and if must stop the service for any other reason than moving in
the middle of the three months I do not receive any refund. I feel
that any and all refunds should be made, no matter what the
reason is for the stoppage of service.
Bulk Items; the pre - printed information states that United Wastes
Office should be notified when larger items are placed out for
pickup. I was in a Council Meeting when Jeff Glewwe explained
that they have five different trucks down our streets every Friday
except for the appliances that are picked up on Tuesday by
another company, and that there is no need for the resident to call
on such items.
3. Different answers on different days by different staff.
I have called for extra items to be taken at my curb, which I was
told by the staff there will be dditional charges for these items.
Only after I explained that I have a full service and it is different
in Centerville that they agreed to pick these items up for no
additional fee. Also, more recently, I phoned the office of United
Waste to ask about the fee (if any) for an extra cart. I was asked
where I live and what level of service I currently have, which I
provided. I was told there was an additional fee of $7.95 per
month for the extra cart. Knowing that the staff at United Waste
was in error in telling me that, I went ahead and ordered a second
cart. Which was not charged extra, but the point I am trying to
make is that the information the Centerville customers are
receiving from the United Waste staff is inconsistent.
