* I spoke with Gary Hugeback (Integrated Real Estate) and he
indicated that there are two banks looking at property in
town. Gerald Rehbine has been grading the SW quadrant of the
interchange in Lino for a commercial plat. He has one signed
purchase agreement for a convenience store /cafe /car wash
building. Gary said he would have a signed agreement with a
hotel by Friday for the same piece of property. Gerald
indicated that he raised his price on the property on the
intersection of 20th and Main St. to try to lure one of the
banks into Lino because he needed three parcels sold to pay
for the road stub. The bank still wants the parcel in
Centerville. I also heard that Sewall Gear contacted Gerald
and that they will not be making a decision on moving until
around Christmas.
