For the past ten years you have provided City staff assistance for this Committee. ,Yes, you have built our agendas and taken our minutes, but you have done far more. We all know where the true committee leadership came from. All of us on the Parks and Recreation Committee give you our heartfelt thanks! • Thank you ... for always going above and beyond your job description. • Thank you ... for your commitment to excellence in everything Park and Rec. • Thank you ... for your energy and the energy you generated in each of us. • Thank you ... for providing the structure to help keep our committee `on- track'. • Thank you ... for arriving early to let us in, and staying late to lock -up after us. • Thank you ... for providing the historical context to help us make the best decisions for our community. • Thank you ... for your unwavering support in our efforts to provide community opportunities to our residents, especially during the daytime hours when we couldn't do it ourselves. • Thank you ... for your creative ideas. • Thank you ... for pointing us back to the agenda when we tended to wander. • Thank you ... for putting items on our agenda when we tended to forget about them. • Thank you ... for pulling all those damn weeds in the parks and monuments. • Thank you ... for Music -in- the - Parks, now one of Centerville's premier park activities. • Thank you ... for all those trips to Sam's Club, Festival, Target or wherever needed for popcorn, hot chocolate and supplies.
