D. Families and individuals may reserve park facilities and athletic fields for a single <br /> date. If more than one date is desired, separate Special Use Permits will be required <br /> E. Individuals may reserve parks in two hour blocks of time. Typically reservations will <br /> be for a two or four hour permit. Longer reservations may be considered by the City <br /> Council under extenuating circumstances. <br /> F. Special Use Permits by individuals should be made 30 days prior to the desired date. <br /> G. Special Use Permits by organizations should be made at least 60 days prior to the <br /> beginning date. <br /> li. The Parks and Recreation Committee shall review Special Use Permits and make <br /> appropriate recommendations for or against approval to the City Council. <br /> I. The City Council is the approving authority for all Special Use Permits. <br /> 6. Fee Structure: <br /> A. Request by Centerville Residents <br /> 1. Single use permit of 2 hours or Tess $10.00 <br /> 2. Single use permit of 4 hours or more $20.00 <br /> B. Request by non - resident individuals <br /> 1. Single use permit of 2 hours or less $20.00 <br /> 2. Single use permit of 4 hours or more $30.00 <br /> C. Request by Clubs and youth athletic organizations for single events will be the <br /> same as for individual Centerville residents. <br /> D. Request by Clubs and youth athletic organizations for multiple dates shall be $100 <br /> for a one to three month season. <br /> E. Fees may be waived by the City Council. <br /> 7. Restrictions: <br /> A. Alcohol: As a general rule alcohol is not allowed in any City Park. City Council may <br /> make exceptions for special events such as the Lion's Fete de Lacs Street Dance. <br /> B. Before consideration of waiver, the Special Use Permit Request must include a plan <br /> to preclude under age drinking and drinking and driving incidents. Such permits will <br /> be coordinated with the Centennial Lakes Police Department. <br /> 8. Responsibilities: <br /> Individuals who submits (signs) the Special Use Permit Request for park or park facility <br /> reservation is responsible for: <br /> A. leaving the park facility as clean as they found it. <br /> B. damage that may occur, The City reserves the right to pass repair cost back to <br /> that individual. <br /> C. safety of individuals using the facility under this reservation. <br />
