It was placed in Cornerstone Park as part of an Eagle <br /> Scout project and was dedicated recently to Veterans of the area. In the ceremony, Oak <br /> Park Heights was recognized for donating the pole. <br /> I have included a picture from the newspaper. It must have been a big news week as there <br /> wasn't an accompanying story. Would you share our sincere appreciation with the City <br /> Council. We have put the flagpole to good use in a location that is highly visible. If you <br /> are ever passing through Centerville on Anoka County Highway 14 (Main Street) you <br /> will see the flagpole just past Centerville Road on the south side of the road.
