This analysis was done to compare data used in the 1997 report to data that has been <br />generated to date. Refer to Table No.1, which shows a comparison of the data for the last 6 <br />years. It shows that the average day demands have tracked somewhat below the projected <br />average day demands, and that the peak demands have also tracked below the projected peak <br />demands. Peak demands are influenced primarily by new development and weather. We <br />feel that the 1997 report contained inadequate projected flows for the Commercial and <br />Industrial areas for demand projections in the ultimate system. The lack of Commercial and <br />Industrial developments since 1997 could be the reason that the demands have tracked below <br />the projected demands in the last few years. Large users and houses are expected to continue <br />to increase demand considerably over the next few years, and if this expansion coincides <br />with a hot, dry summer, then higher peak demands will begin to occur. For this reason, we <br />do not concur the report data from the 1997 report can still be used and thus, the <br />recommended inclusion of a 500,000 gallon water reservoir can be justified. <br /> <br />Water Tower Feasibility Report <br /> <br />10 <br />
