<br /> <br />ervi{{e <br />'Esta,6{isfwf 1857 <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />September 10, 2003 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Honorable Mayor and Councilmembers <br /> <br />Kim Moore-Sykes, City Administrator #v6 <br /> <br />Letter from Lori Peterson, Home Owners' Association re: Clearwater <br />Road Street Easement Vacation at 1744 and 1764 Main Street. <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />......................................................................... <br /> <br />Ms. Lori Peterson brought in the attached letter to City Hall on Monday, advising the <br />City Council that the Twin Town Homes of Eagle Pass Home Owners' Association is <br />against approving the vacation of the Clearwater Road street easement. The <br />Association's primary concern is the possibility that Mr. and Mrs. Peterson will be able to <br />rezone their property to commercial and they feel that this would not be an appropriate <br />development at the entrance to their residential development. <br /> <br />I called Ms. Peterson about the letter and advised her that Mr. and Mrs. Paulsen and Ms. <br />Miller had petitioned for the easement vacation and that the land will be split between the <br />two properties. We also talked about spot zoning and that it's not an action that is <br />allowed by the City's Comprehensive Land Use Plan or by the State. She and her <br />neighbors were invited to attend Wednesday night's Council meeting. <br />
