CenteT1Ji1t:e, 9If!J.L 55038 <br />(651) 429-3232 l!t!Fa?( (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03 - 047 <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON <br />PROPOSED WATER TOWER CONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the direction of Council a report has been prepared by <br />Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Assoc. with reference to the construction of a new <br />500,000 gallon water tower to be located at 7087 - 20th Avenue South and this report was <br />received by the council on August 27, 2003; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost-effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The council will consider the construction ofa new 500,000 gallon <br />water tower to be located at 7087 - 20th Avenue South with the <br />cost of the improvement to be paid for with City funds being <br />expended from the Water Enterprise Fund with an estimated cost <br />of the improvement not to exceed $1,100,000. <br />A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on <br />the 19th day of September in the council chambers of the city hall <br />commencing at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter and the clerk shall <br />give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement <br />as required by law. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />1~' <br />j <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City of Centerville this 10th day of September, 2003. <br /> <br />Mayor, Terry Sweeney <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />City Clerk, Teresa Bender <br />
