See <br />attached meeting minutes. <br /> <br />It has been several months since Mr. Yang has contacted the City in any capacity. The <br />most recent contact was several months ago when Mr. Yang stated that he was interested <br />in opening a Hmong funeral home, restaurant and bar. Council Member Capra spoke <br />with several representatives from the State and the City of St. Paul in regards to problems <br />that may and can exist for businesses of this nature, licensing requirements and traditions <br />of the Hmong clans. <br /> <br />Staff has attached information recently received off of the internet for your reference and <br />staff continues to perform needed research on this issue. <br />
