<br /> <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, November 2, 2011 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of <br />Centerville held the regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Centerville <br />City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> Vice-Chairperson Jon Grahek <br /> Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br /> Committee Member Brian Peterson <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Member Mark Haiden <br /> <br />Absent: <br />Chairperson Patrick Branch <br />Committee Member Kevin Selander <br /> <br />Council: <br />Council Liaison Steven King <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> Paul Palzer, Public Works <br /> <br />Also present were Rob Faust and his mother, Carla Faust. <br />_____________________________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Roll Call <br /> <br /> Vice-Chairperson Jon Grahek called the November 2, 2011 Parks & Recreation <br />Committee Meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br /> A Committee Member requested that Organizational Structure and Staff Assistance be <br />added as Item #6 under Updates. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Kevin Amundsen, seconded by Committee <br />Member Brian Peterson, to set the November 2, 2011 Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Agenda with the above addition. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.Mr. Rob Faust, Eagle Scout, updated the Committee on the progress of the <br />installation of the flag pole at Cornerstone Park. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the illumination of the flag and a proposal from <br /> <br />
