<br />Centerville City Council <br />June 11, 2003 <br />Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers asked for input from the police department and <br />asked for decibel examples from another city from the City Attorney. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked whether the police could check to see if the band this <br />weekend is too loud. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney stated that he was aware that Kelly's has been much more cognizant of <br />the issues surrounding the noise from the bands that play at the establishment and the <br />levels emitted. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated that she believes they have made some <br />efforts with the bands. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member <br />Capra to continue the public hearine to the first meetine in Julv. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />4. Ordinance #76 - Adopting the Minnesota State Building Code <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney opened the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that this is a housekeeping item before Council adopting the <br />new State Building Code. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded bv Council Member Paar <br />to close the public hearine. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Sweeney closed the public hearing at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded bv Council Member Broussard Vickers <br />to adopt Ordinance #76 as presented. Ail in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Resolution #03-034 - Fee Schedule <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated that some items needed to be changed on the fee schedule <br />including amendments to the fees paid by residents on Brian Drive. The other change <br />was a site plan review fee of$75. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the fee should be higher to cover the costs. <br /> <br />Ms. Moore-Sykes indicated the fee is for a simple review and a bigger development <br />would have more fees for City Attorney and Engineer time. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked why it was not part of the building permit fee. <br /> <br />Page 6 of 12 <br />
