When the oftker charged with <br />enforcement determines that a nuisance constitutes a seriollS and immJDent danaer to <br />the public safety or heal~ the officer may summarily abate the nuisance after a <br />reasonable attunpt to notify the owner or occupant of the property. The alike shall <br />immediately thereafter notify in writina the owner or occupant of the premises of the <br />action taken. The notl.ce shall be served In perIOD or by reglsiered or certified maiL <br /> <br />SubcL 3. Costs of Abatement. The cost of the abatemeat may be <br />assessed. as a current service acaiDst the property upon which or wbicb created the <br />nuisance. <br />
