The project involved completing an <br /> inventory of the City's existing water resources, outlining existing problems and corrective <br /> actions, establishing goals and policies, and creating an implementation plan to protect <br /> and improve the water resources within the City. This work also included a non - <br /> degradation approach to water quality modeling to help establish the goals and policies <br /> throughout the City. <br /> Industrial Park Drainage and Water Quality Improvements, Princeton, MN <br /> Jake was the Project Engineer responsible for recommending improvements necessary <br /> to reduce flooding and improve water quality discharged from the industrial park. This <br /> included water quality modeling, water quantity modeling, and preparation of a feasibility <br /> report outlining multiple improvement options. <br /> FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), Afton, MN <br /> Jake was the Project Engineer responsible for closing out HMGP projects in the City of <br /> Afton. He worked with residents, FEMA, and the DNR to achieve compliance of flood <br /> improvements completed through the HMGP. <br /> Harrison Hill Stormwater improvements, Chanhassen, MN <br /> Jake was the Project Engineer responsible for completing the feasibility study and design <br /> of improvements to reduce flooding of properties adjacent to Harrison Hill Trail. This <br /> project included evaluation of existing drainage conditions, preparation of a feasibility <br /> report, and completion of plans and specifications to address existing flooding problems. <br /> Rupp Drive Water Quality Improvements, Burnsville, MN <br /> Jake was the Project Engineer responsible for completing the feasibility study and design <br /> of stormwater improvements in the Rupp Drive area. This project included evaluation <br /> of the existing stormwater system, preparation of a feasibility report, and completion of <br /> plans and specifications to address the need for increased stormwater treatment and <br /> improved water quality discharged to Black Dog Lake. <br /> FEMA Flood Maps <br /> Jake was the Project Engineer responsible for analyzing and mapping the 2008 FEMA <br /> I 9 P Yz� 9 PP� g <br /> map changes for Washington County. This analysis was completed for the cities of Hugo, <br /> Grant, and Mahtomedi. <br /> Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Mapping <br /> Jake has done work on numerous GIS figures and base maps for many types of projects. <br /> Some of these include stormwater management plans and non - degradation plans <br /> displaying items such as soil types, lakes and wetlands, and land use.
