<br /> Environmental Assessment and Review
<br /> Andrea has led our environmental review team in preparing. submitting, and responding to
<br /> comments for over 60 EAWs, EAs, and AUARs for residential, commercial /industrial, roadway,
<br /> and natural resource projects through MEPA and NEPA regulations.These projects have
<br /> included Park Cove in Minnetrista, Gateway Area in Edina, Jefferson Development in Monticello,
<br /> CSAH 17 in Anoka County,Vesterra Gravel Mine in Rosemount, and dozens more.
<br /> In the development and preparation of these documents,Andrea works closely with her clients,
<br /> makes solid recommendations to decision makers, and diligently tracks the environmental
<br /> review schedule and follows up on agency comments.
<br /> Environmental Review for Wind Energy Projects
<br /> Andrea has completed site permit applications, environmental site assessments, wetland studies,
<br /> and other environmental analysis and documentation for wind energy projects. This work has
<br /> also included avian and bat assessments for the wind projects. She works efficiently with the
<br /> clients to provide detailed environmental analysis in a timely manner to keep the project on
<br /> schedule. Recent project studies have included:

<br /> - ' -{ • Assessments for small projects and entire cities. This work
<br /> i included developing a natural resources assessment for
<br /> Monticello using Minnesota Land Cover Classification System
<br /> (MLCCS). Andrea has also completed assessments for
<br /> -• 1 ., j individual projects. Andrea used this information and assist
<br /> • - - cities develop policies to protect and manage these resources.
<br /> Local Government Unit (LGU) Experience
<br /> Andrea has extensive experience and familiarity with the Wetland Conservation Act (WCA).
<br /> She has assisted the Cities of Prior Lake, Lakeville, Minnetrista, Hugo, Grant, Sunfish Lake, ,.
<br /> Shakopee, Rosemount, and Richfield with the LGU role and provided technical expertise in Mai W.
<br /> wetland determinations, LGU paperwork, and permitting in conformance with state rules. She
<br /> also provides training to city staff in their role as LGU.
