EXHIBIT B ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES BY LEXINGTON A. Lexington will review building permit applications for zoning compliance, including lot setbacks and will verifying the existence of conflicting boundary line easements, and then forward all plans, specifications, and cost estimates presented by the applicant to Centerville's Building Official. B. To the extent practical, Lexington will scan and email or fax the permit applications to the Building Official. When an architect or engineer has prepared a plan, Lexington will require submittal of electronic plans in PDF format and supply a copy to the Building Official. C. Lexington will collect fees and issue permits (subject to approval by the Centerville Building Official). D. Lexington will mail notices of non - compliance, permit termination and other administrative actions on behalf of Building Official. E. Lexington will complete and remit annual tracking forms of building activity required by outside agencies (i.e., Anoka County, Metropolitan Council State of Minnesota - Department of Labor & Industry, U.S. Census Bureau, etc.). F. Lexington shall approve the designation of Centerville Building Official, Paul Palzer as the Lexington Building Official and notify the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, Building Division, accordingly. G. Lexington shall adopt the Minnesota State Building Code. H. Lexington shall provide permit applications and other forms necessary to implement its building permit requirements. I. Lexington shall be responsible for collecting the building permit surcharges required by State of Minnesota and remitting such to the State in a timely manner. J. Within twelve months, Lexington shall adopt a fee schedule for building, plumbing and mechanical permits that are not less than the fees charged by Centerville for a similar permit. Page 5 of 5 54
