EXHIBIT B <br /> ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES BY LEXINGTON <br /> A. Lexington will review building permit applications for zoning compliance, including lot <br /> setbacks and will verifying the existence of conflicting boundary line easements, and then <br /> forward all plans, specifications, and cost estimates presented by the applicant to Centerville's <br /> Building Official. <br /> B. To the extent practical, Lexington will scan and email or fax the permit applications to the <br /> Building Official. When an architect or engineer has prepared a plan, Lexington will require <br /> submittal of electronic plans in PDF format and supply a copy to the Building Official. <br /> C. Lexington will collect fees and issue permits (subject to approval by the Centerville Building <br /> Official). <br /> D. Lexington will mail notices of non - compliance, permit termination and other administrative <br /> actions on behalf of Building Official. <br /> E. Lexington will complete and remit annual tracking forms of building activity required by <br /> outside agencies (i.e., Anoka County, Metropolitan Council State of Minnesota - Department <br /> of Labor & Industry, U.S. Census Bureau, etc.). <br /> F. Lexington shall approve the designation of Centerville Building Official, Paul Palzer as the <br /> Lexington Building Official and notify the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, <br /> Building Division, accordingly. <br /> G. Lexington shall adopt the Minnesota State Building Code. <br /> H. Lexington shall provide permit applications and other forms necessary to implement its <br /> building permit requirements. <br /> I. Lexington shall be responsible for collecting the building permit surcharges required by State <br /> of Minnesota and remitting such to the State in a timely manner. <br /> J. Within twelve months, Lexington shall adopt a fee schedule for building, plumbing and <br /> mechanical permits that are not less than the fees charged by Centerville for a similar permit. <br /> Page 5 of 5 <br /> 54 <br />
