City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> January 25, 2012 <br /> IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> 1. City Administrator <br /> Administrator Larson stated that collaborative meetings continue with neighboring communities. <br /> All communities are aware and interested in the anti - icing/spray brine method that the City is <br /> currently utilizing and are very interested in it. Administrator Larson reported that Rice Creek <br /> Watershed District (RCWD) is considering collaborative measures to secure a grant which would <br /> allow the purchase of additional equipment, etc. <br /> Administrator Larson stated that the discussions continue with the City of Lexington regarding <br /> providing building inspection services and it is felt that an agreement would be coming forward <br /> for Council consideration at their next meeting and services would commence in March. <br /> Administrator Larson reported that the Lexington Fire Department is purchasing a new fire truck <br /> and they would like to temporarily store their old truck indoors until such time as it is sold. <br /> Administrator Larson suggested the use of the old Public Works site if Council was agreeable. <br /> Council. <br /> X. ADJOURNMENT <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love to adjourn the <br /> regularly scheduled meeting of January 25, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. All in favor.
