CALL TO ORDER. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Mosher. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Roll Call <br /> <br /> <br />PUBLIC INPUT/HEARING None <br /> <br /> <br />II.OLD BUSINESS <br />. None <br /> <br />III. NEW BUSINESS <br />. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed a conditional use permit from Jessica Evers for a Kennel to be <br />st <br />located on the property at 7055 21 Avenue. Ms. Evers was present. She indicated that she <br />would initially use about 2/3 of the space in the building but hopes to expand into the <br />entire property. Longer term she hopes to sell pet foods and supplies at retail and to have a <br />veterinarian provide services on site. She was asked to bring a detailed plan showing the <br />number of kennels in the building, so P&Z might know the capacity of the property. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Larson to set a public <br />hearing to consider the proposed conditional use permit to be held at 6:30 p.m. on <br />January 3, 2012. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IV. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />The Commission was briefed on the status of the Metro Transit Park and Ride facility <br />proposed for Lino Lakes on the Centerville easterly border. An engineering study of the <br />needed road and utility improvements is underway. <br /> <br />Discussion was held regarding snowmobile regulations comparing with Lino Lakes’ rules. <br />Some members liked the idea of matching most of Centerville’s rules to Lino Lakes.
