City of Centerville <br /> Council Meeting Minutes <br /> February 22, 2012 <br /> 2. Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through February 9, 2012 (Check #8818- <br /> 8803) w/Voided Check #8789 <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve <br /> the Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> VI. AWARDS /PRESENTATIONS /APPEARANCES <br /> None. <br /> VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. OnLine Ticket Education System (Update) <br /> Attorney Glaser gave a brief overview of the program, completion rates, revenue, feedback from <br /> both the Police Department and users. Administrator Larson stated that the City received <br /> substantially more revenue through this educational program than imposed fines through the <br /> County. Attorney Glaser is requesting that Council consider allowing the program to be offered <br /> going forward. Brief discussion was had by Council and consensus was to continue the program. <br /> VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Res. #12 -007 — Approving OnLine Ticket Education System <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member Love, to approve <br /> Res. #12 -007 — Approving the OnLine Ticket Education System. All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> 2. Request for Letter of Credit Reduction — Mr. Rick Carlson (Hunters Crossing 3` <br /> Addition) <br /> Administrator Larson reviewed a staff report and recommendation for a reduction in Letter of <br /> Credit for the Hunters Crossing 3rd Addition which currently is $300,000 down to $250,000. <br /> Administrator Larson also stated that the agreement would provide an incentive to the Developer <br /> for an additional reduction down to $194,000 if Mr. Carlson sells an additional 4 lots, such that <br /> the total remaining is not more than 22 of the original 44 lots. <br /> Mr. Rick Carlson, Developer, was in attendance of the meeting and stated that he was confident. <br /> that within the next three to six months he would be reducing the amount of remaining lots to <br /> less than 22 due to the fact that he has sales agreements on four lots and an additional three lots <br /> have purchase agreements. <br /> Motion by Council Member Fehrenbacher, seconded by Council Member King, to approve <br /> the Hunters Crossing 3 Addition Letter of Credit Reduction as recommended by staff. <br /> All in favor.
