City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />February 22, 2012 <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to approve <br />Ord. #55, Second Series – Amending City Code, Chapter 51 & 91, Adding Regulations for <br />Illicit Storm Water Discharge & Detection as presented. All in favor. Council Member <br />King opposed. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />IX.ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1.City Administrator <br /> <br />a.Trail Project <br /> <br />Administrator Larson stated that a recent meeting was held with the contractor, Veit and most <br />outstanding issues have been resolved. Final documentation should be forthcoming. <br /> <br /> <br />b.North Metro Television Annual Report & Franchise Fees <br /> <br />Administrator Larson reported that the City is in receipt of the 2011 Franchise Fees amounting to <br />$9,595 and that North Metro’s Annual Report is available on line at their website. <br /> <br />Council Member King stated that they are anticipating similar numbers for next year. Council <br />Member King advised Administrator Larson to contact Ms. Arnson for an update regarding <br />closed captioning. <br /> <br /> <br />2.Other reports. <br /> <br />Council Member Fehrenbacher reported that he attending the Police Governing Board meeting <br />this month where they discussed the Online Ticket Education and eCharging programs, hiring of <br />two new Community Service Officers, approved annual resolutions, extension of the Chief’s <br />contract and CERT Grant funding. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber reported that the Fire Steering Committee has a new Chairperson, Centennial <br />Fire would be holding an upcoming Award Ceremony on March 3 at 1:00 p.m. at Fire Station 2, <br />the North Metro City/Collaboration Group would be meeting this week, he was contact by a <br />local paper looking for historical information and forwarded the contact to Ms. Capra, that he <br />would be attending the Support our Troops dinner and thanked all that volunteered and supported <br />the Lions’ Ice Fishing Contest this past weekend. <br /> <br /> <br />X.ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Love, to adjourn the <br />regularly scheduled Council meeting of February 22, 2012 at 7:55 p.m. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Transcribed by Staff Member: Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br />Page 4 of 4 <br />
