DRAFT DRAFT DRAFT <br />4/6/2012 <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE # <br />SECOND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE, CHAPTER 256, REGARDING B -1 <br />CONDITIONAL USES. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE ORDAINS: <br />Section 1 . City Code, Chapter 156, Section 156.030 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (13-1), <br />(L) is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />(L) Conditional uses. <br />(1) Automotive vehicle and motorized equipment sales and service, excluding <br />salvage operations, provided; <br />(a) the outside sales lot shall not be larger in square footage than the one <br />and one -half times the square footage of the building devoted to the related <br />business. <br />(b) the sales lot used to park vehicles to be sold or serviced shall be a <br />separate and distinct from the area of the premises used to park vehicles necessary <br />to satisfy the minimum parking required by this Code. <br />(c) all repair assembly disassembly or maintenance of vehicles shall occur <br />within a closed building except minor maintenance including tire inflation, adding <br />oil and wiper replacement. Vehicles that are inoperable or are missing body parts <br />shall be stored inside a building [or in a properly screened area, provided <br />however that vehicles which are inoperable, missing body parts, or are <br />unlicensed may not be stored outside a building longer than 90 days. <br />(2) Farm implements sales and service; <br />(a) the outside equipment storage lot shall not be larger in square footage <br />than one and one -half times the square footage of the building devoted to the <br />related business <br />(b) all repair assembly disassembly or maintenance of vehicles and <br />implements shall occur within a closed building except minor maintenance <br />including tire inflation, adding oil and wiper replacement.
