Metro., <br />TO: Honorable Mayor & Council Members <br />FROM: Parks & Recreation Committee <br />SUBJECT: Park Usage Requests <br />DATE: April 5, 2012 <br />Centennial Soccer Club Request to use Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park soccer <br />fields 1, 2 & 11 from April 1 — July 1, 2012. They submitted the appropriate <br />forms, Parks & Recreation recommends approval and a detailed schedule will be <br />provided by the Soccer Club. Following a recent conversation with the requester, <br />he will be again submitting a request for the use of the same fields for Saturday <br />practices and the use of Acorn Creek Park. (The use of LaMotte Park by this <br />organization has been an annual occurrence). <br />2. Ms. Amy Anderson Request to use Hidden Spring Park for a wedding on June 16, <br />2012 from 3:30 — 5.30 p.m. Ms. Anderson submitted the appropriate form and <br />Parks & Recreation recommends approval. A $100 deposit will be charged to the <br />requester to ensure all trash is removed and the park is in the condition it was <br />previous to usage. <br />3. Cub Scout Pack 432 Rocket Launch Request to use Laurie LaMotte Memorial <br />Park June 2, 2012 with an alternative date of June 23, 2012 from 9:00 — 3:00 p.m. <br />They submitted the appropriate forms, and Parks & Recreation recommends <br />approval. (The use of LaMotte Park by this organization has been an annual <br />occurrence). <br />Items 1 & 3 have been reviewed by the Public Works Department. <br />Item 3 has been forwarded to the Fire and Police Departments for their review. <br />• <br />
