Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation to Approve: <br /> a. Centennial Soccer Club's Request to utilize Laurie LaMotte <br /> Memorial Park Soccer Fields from April 1 to July 1, 2012 Monday <br /> — Thursday from 4 -9:00 p.m. <br /> b. Ms. Amy Anderson Request to Utilize Hidden Spring Park for a <br /> Wedding on June 16, 2012 from 3:30 -5:30 p.m. <br /> c. Expend $30 for the Purchase of Ice Cream for The Jam on July 27, <br /> 2012 @ Hidden Spring Park <br /> Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Fehrenbacher, to <br /> approve the Consent Agenda as presented. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Mayor Wilharber opened the Board of Review & Equalization Hearing. <br /> BOARD OF REVIEW <br /> City Assessor Ken Tolzmann and Ms. Mary Boyle; Assessment Support Manager, Anoka <br /> County were both present to answer resident questions. Mr. Tolzmann reviewed his <br /> annual report regarding market values, short sales, foreclosurers, lakeshore property, <br /> commercial property, exempt properties and how all of these factors may or may not play <br /> a roll in the values placed on individual's properties. Mr. Tolzmann stated that only <br /> qualified sales (not short sales or foreclosures) can be used to derive comparisons for <br /> property values and this follows the County's guidelines. Mr. Tolzmann explained that <br /> there were plenty of qualified sales to utilize for this process. <br /> The Mayor stated that the hearing would remain open for an additional 10 minutes and <br /> asked whether Staff or Mr. Tolzmann had received any telephone calls.
