Pa:((651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06-017 <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF REQUEST FOR STATE BONDING FUNDS <br />FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A PORTION OF ANOKA COUNTY STATE <br />AID IDGHWAY 14 FROM INTERSTATE 35E TO INTERSTATE 35W, AS <br />WELL AS, THE RECONSTRUCTION OF THE INTERCHANGE AT <br />INTERSTA TE 35E <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville has been working with Anoka County, the City of <br />Lino Lakes, the local property owners on plans for the reconstruction of a portion of <br />Anoka County State Aid Highway 14 from Interstate 35E to Interstate 35W and the <br />Interchange at Interstate 35E; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all the above mentioned parties agree that the reconstruction of Anoka <br />County State Aid Highway 14 and the Interchange at Interstate 35E is critically needed; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the United States <br />Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration have stated they do not <br />have funding available for this project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Centerville City Council authorizes <br />the submission of a request to the Minnesota State Legislature for 2006 bonding funds for <br />the reconstruction of Anoka County State Aid Highway 14 and the Interchange at <br />Interstate 35E in the amount of39.75% of the reconstruction costs, or $14,100,000. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 22nd day of February, 2006. <br /> <br />c___Attest:v~-),&~ <br />Teresa Bender, City Clerk <br /> <br />
